About Earrings

Lab grown diamond earrings and studs in solid 14K and 18K gold, from 0.18 ct pairs upward. Studs are the piece most likely to survive a change of taste, and for anything worn daily the earring back matters more than the stone does. Made to move with you.

Are these lab grown diamond earrings?
Yes. Every stone is a lab grown diamond, set in solid 14K gold, 18K gold or platinum 950. Studs with individually graded stones list their IGI report numbers in the details on the product page.
How is the carat weight of a pair of studs measured?
The figure quoted is the total for both earrings. A pair described as 2 ct total carries roughly one carat in each ear. This is the standard convention for studs and it is worth checking when comparing prices across sellers, because a 2 ct pair and a 2 ct stone are very different objects.
What backs are used?
The fitting for each pair is listed in the details on its product page. If a specific back is needed, for a healed piercing or for sleeping in, ask before ordering at sunny@xdiamondinc.com.
What carat size works for everyday studs?
Between a quarter carat and one carat total is the range most people wear daily without thinking about it. Above two carats total, a stud becomes something noticed from across a room, which is a different decision rather than a better one.
Are they IGI certified?
Pairs with individually graded stones carry IGI Laboratory Grown Diamond Reports, and the report numbers are listed on the product page. Smaller accent stones are not individually certified, which is standard practice.
