Setting this stone
A four prong basket with V-shaped tips over the corners is the plainest setting that is also structurally sound, and it leaves the square outline uninterrupted. A square halo repeats that outline instead of softening it, which is why halos read better on a princess than on most shapes. If the ring is for constant wear, a bezel removes the corner risk entirely at the cost of a millimeter of visible spread.
Reading the numbers
The 64.4% depth and 70% table are both toward the deep, open end for a princess. That combination gives a bright, broad return rather than fine scintillation, and it is a good pairing with a D, because an open table shows the body color of a stone with nothing to mask it. There is no color here to mask.
